Will my management staff require training?
- We strongly recommend training. Training gives staff confidence in new software and allows them to quickly integrate the software into their routine, minimizing disruption and maximizing the benefit of the software.
- Only managers generally need to be training on the software use. Cleaning staff will not need to access the software.
- For Task Tracker Facilities, we also provide a startup kit to assist you with mapping your facility and determining setup and task requirements.
How long will it take for my staff to begin using the new methods?
- Based on a staff of 30, a few of your staff will be set up and on work orders immediately after training. The rest of your staff will be converted to using work orders within two to four weeks, depending on your management team.
Do I have to measure room areas (square footages or square meters)?
- Measuring room areas is optional, and is not related to improved cleaning performance. If measurements are entered, data on cleaning times can be entered into Task Tracker and reports can be produced showing task time per square foot (or meter). This type of analysis is often not required.
Does the system come with a library of times or do we have to do time studies?
- At this time Task Tracker does not include a library of cleaning times. However, by entering the square footage or square meters of an area as well as the time it takes for your cleaners to complete tasks in that area, a report can be generated detailing the time for tasks per square foot (or meter).
Will I get a return on investment?
- Absolutely! Improved management allows for a reduction in cleaning costs. Your investment in Task Tracker may be paid off in as little as a few of months.
Are there discounts for smaller facilities?
- No, sorry. Software costs are based on the number of simultaneous users - how many people would need to access the software at the same time. Smaller organizations generally have a need for less users, often only a one or two user license. So, small facilities do save money on user counts when compared to larger organizations.
