Prerequisite: Some computer experience required. No ESTIMATOR experience necessary.
Target Audience: This course is geared to personnel who are responsible for basic estimating, including data entry, building specs, creating rate tables, takeoff and reporting
In this course, you will:
- learn to the basic software functionality and navigation
- create projects, areas and other records needed for an estimate.
- learn simple customization techniques
- learn about library setup and management
- build specs using built-in tools
- add items to takeoff using the takeoff wizard
- use reporting tools to manage information and generate comprehensive reports

Maximizing Usability: Creating Awesome Reports (2 Days)
Prerequisite: Kakari Systems Ltd. introductory software training or equivalent experience
Target Audience: This
course is targeted at advanced users with some technical aptitude who want to learn to create and modify reports.
In this course, you will:
- Create basic reports and make simple modifications.
- Customize report layout
- Setup summary reports
- Learn more about quick reports and saved reports
- Learn how degree of detail is used when running reports
- Adjust report appearance, including font, column width, shading, orientation and more
- Set up headers, footers and page numbering
- Pint images on reports
- Create a column report from quick reports
- Copy reports
- Use layout mode to edit reports and apply visual modifications
- Adjust such as sorting
- Print bar codes on reports
- Organize reports for easy access
- Enhance reports by adding sub-reports
- Use calculations and formulas on reports
