Labor and Crews

When estimating, accurate labor costs are crucial to an accurate estimate. ESTIMATOR is able to offer our users the convenience of automatic blended rate calculation by allowing estimators to set specifications such as crew attributes and detailed wage rates.

Set Project Rate. Assign a rate table to each project. Factors such as overtime and double time are also set for each project.
No Limit On Trades. A crew can be made up of any number of trades, in any combination. For example, a Lab46-Car54 crew consists of 46% laborers and 54% carpenters. A Lab56-Car11-CM35 crew would be a crew with 54% laborers, 11% carpenters and 35% cement masons.

Designate Crews. Estimators can assign a specific crew type to a library item.
Detailed Trade Rates. Base trade rates are assigned to each trade. Burdens such as holiday pay, worker's compensation plans, pension contributions and employment insurance are also tracked.
Comprehensive Calculation. Actual trade rate cost is calculated from the table of base rates and factoring in burdens to provide a true labor cost for each crew.
