Great El-Fateh Tower, Libya

The Great El-Fateh Tower in Libya, built in the late 90's, was looking for a maintenance management system that would provide the utmost in flexibility and ease of use to handle its maintenance needs. Like many other facilities, the maintenance staff was handling incoming work requests manually.

The Objective

To set up a CMMS that can be easily customized to adapt to the Arabic language and to get a centralized control of all the preventive maintenance tasks in the building.

The Solution

IGOR was chosen in 2000 because they recognized that it had the power to handle heavy loads and flexibility for special needs as they arose.

We scheduled sufficient on-site training so even with the language barrier, everyone in the department was on track within a week. We trained two groups of 7-8 staff in a well-equipped training room. The implementation of preventive maintenance is progressing at a steady pace. Work orders are printed weekly which is most common.
